Theo nhà sản xuất phim André Menras, “Việt Nam: Tiếng gào thét từ bên trong” là “tiếng nói của những người bất đồng chính kiến và cả những dân thường cùng cực vô danh”.
Trao đổi với BBC News Tiếng Việt, ông André Menras, tên tiếng Việt là Hồ Cương Quyết, cho hay khi làm cuốn phim ‘Việt Nam: Tiếng gào thét từ bên trong’, ông đã “bị an ninh theo dõi, nghe lén điện thoại”, thậm chí bị dọa sẽ ‘lãnh hậu quả’ nếu “làm hại đến uy tín của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam”.
Chỉ sau ba tuần công bố, phim đã thu hút gần 70.000 lượt xem trên Youtube.
“Cuốn phim này, muốn trao lời cho những con người đang khó sống,” ông André Menras nói trong khởi đầu phim.
‘Những người khó sống’
Hồ Cương QuyếtXuất hiện trong cuốn phim dài 140 phút, phần “Quá khứ bị tịch thu”, cố dịch giả Phạm Toàn nói: “Thế hệ của chúng tôi rất hào hiệp với cách mạng, bởi cách mạng rất hào hiệp với chúng tôi. Có cách mạng chúng tôi mới có tự do. Nhưng chúng tôi không ngờ đã có một sự lật ngược…”
Tâm sự của ông Phạm Toàn cũng là tâm sự chung của hàng loạt ‘người khó sống’ khác mà ông André phỏng vấn trong phim, như nhà nghiên cứu Nguyễn Khắc Mai, dịch giả Phạm Toàn, giáo sư Chu Hảo, nhà báo độc lập Phạm Chí Dũng, nhà sử học Trần Đức Anh Sơn, giáo sư Tương Lai…
Trong một đoạn phim, ông Kha Lương Ngãi, nguyên phóng viên Đài phát thanh Giải Phóng, nói hồi đó ông vào ĐCSVN từ những năm thanh xuân của tuổi 20, thấy mình “đi đúng hướng, thấy cuộc chiến đấu lãng mạn, thi vị”, chỉ để xin ra khỏi đảng năm 2004.
Tôi “nhận ra thể chế này dưới sự lãnh đạo của ĐSC là độc tài toàn trị, không còn phù hợp nữa,” ông Ngãi nói với ông André.
Trước tin theo đảng vì lý tưởng, nay bị ‘vỡ mộng’ là tiếng nói chung của những nhân sỹ chí thức tên tuổi này.
Đồng Tâm, Thủ Thiêm, Formosa… vào phim
Hồ Cương QuyếtCác cá nhân và các vụ việc thời sự gây xôn xao dự luận vừa qua tại Việt Nam đều có cơ hội xuất hiện trong phim tài liệu mới của André.
Ông André đã có dịp gặp và phỏng vấn cụ Lê Đình Kình và dân làng tại Đồng Tâm. Cuộc phỏng vấn được thực hiện chỉ ít lâu trước khi ông Kình bị giết chết trong cuộc đột kích của công an vào xã Đồng Tâm rạng sáng 9/1.
Trong đoạn phim, cụ Kình nói quyết tâm ‘giữ đất dù phải hi sinh xương máu’.
Phim cũng ghi lại tiếng nói của những người nông dân vô danh dường như chưa bao giờ được lắng nghe.
Đó là những người đã gần đất xa trời, sống trong các túp lều rách nát ở Bình Dương do bị chính quyền tịch thu đất, nhà, như ông Nguyễn Văn Danh, bà Nguyễn Thị Rẽ, ông Nguyễn Ngọc Thạch.
Hồ Cương QuyếtHọ từng có trong tay vài ngàn mét vuông đất ruộng vườn, nhưng bị tịch thu và đền bù với giá rẻ mạt “chỉ đủ ăn vài bữa là hết”. Đến nỗi, ông Thạch phải ước “Nhà nước bắn chúng tôi chết đi vì lý do nhân đạo, đừng để chúng tôi phải chết dần chết mòn thế này”.
Đây cũng là tâm sự chung của người dân mất đất ở Thủ Thiêm, Vườn Rau Lộc Hưng (Sài Gòn), nhiều người trong số họ là người già, tàn tật, không chốn nương thân.
Cuốn phim được quay lần đầu trong vòng hai tháng. Sau đó, ông André Menras trở về Pháp để dựng. Dựng xong, ông quay trở lại Việt Nam để chiếu lần đầu cho các nhân vật trong phim xem, góp ý. Tất cả đều đồng ý giữ nguyên những lời họ nói trong phim.
Nhưng khi trở về Pháp, ông André Menras vẫn cảm thấy thiếu điều gì đó trong những “tiếng gào thét” ở Việt Nam.
“Nên tôi quyết định đi Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình phỏng vấn Đức Cha Nguyễn Thái Hợp và một số người trong cuộc về tai họa Formosa. Trước khi tôi về Pháp, bạn Phạm Chí Dũng , nhân vật trong phim, bị công an bắt.”
“Trở vể Pháp vào đầu tháng 12/2019 tôi bắt đầu dựng đoạn phim về Formosa. Và tôi viết thư bằng tay gửi đến ông Đại sứ Việt Nam tại Pháp báo ông nên can thiệp, nên báo cáo cho cấp trên về tình trạng Đồng Tâm. Vài ngày sau, có tin chấn động: nhà cầm quyền đã tấn công làng và hành quyết cụ Lê Đình Kình một cách man rợ. Nên tôi đã thực hiện thêm một đoạn về Đồng Tâm để đưa vào phim, ” ông André Menras kể lại.
Ông André Menras cũng tới các vùng biển Quảng Ngãi, gặp gỡ, hỏi chuyện những ngư dân bị thuyền Trung Quốc tấn công khi ra khơi đánh cá, may thoát chết nhưng người đầy thương tích.
‘Giọt nước tràn ly’
Ông André Menras cho BBC hay ý tưởng làm cuốn phim này đến với ông sau một sự kiện xảy ra năm 2019.
“Mỗi năm, tôi đều sang Việt Nam và ở lại vài tháng thăm bạn bè. Vì các gắn bó từ quá khứ và vì đã trở thành công dân chính thức của Việt Nam, tôi rất quan tâm đến các vấn đề chính trị, xã hội tại đây. Tôi cố gắng hoàn thành trách nhiệm giúp Việt Nam đi tới một xã hội dân sư, phát triển lành mạnh, xóa đói nghèo, bảo vệ được chủ chủ quyền, giành nhân quyền, dân chủ.”
“Tôi đã thực hiện hai bộ phim tài liệu về Hoàng Sa để dư luận trong và ngoài nước có thể biết tình trạng vô cùng đau khổ và bất công của hàng vạn ngư dân Miền Trung phải đơn độc đối đầu với những cuộc tấn công tàn bạo của cáctàu Trung Quốc. Hai bộ phim được coi như tiếng phẫn nộ và yêu thương của tôi.”
“Tháng 2/2019 tôi sang Việt Nam với mục đích thực hiện bộ phim mới về Trường Sa, vùng biển đảo của Việt Nam mà ngư dân Việt Nam không được hành nghề an toàn do Trung Quốc gây sức ép. Đến mức họ phải đi phiêu lưu đánh cá trái phép tại những vùng biển thuộc chủ quyền của các nước khác.”
“Khi tôi tới Sài Gòn, tôi được mời tham dự họp mặt đầu năm của Câu lạc bộ Lê Hiếu Đằng. Nhưng sau khi vừa rời cuộc họp, nhà thơ Phan Đắc Lữ bị công an bắt.”
“Đó là một giọt nước tràn ly đã thúc đẩy tôi bỏ mục dích ban đầu và quyết định thay làm phim về Trường Sa làm phim về nhân quyền, tự do quan điểm và biểu đạt,” ông André Menras nói.
Bị đe dọa, theo dõi, chửi bới
Hồ Cương QuyếtPhim tài liệu ‘Việt Nam: Tiếng gào thét từ bên trong’ được quay cuối tháng 2/2019 và hoàn thành cuối tháng 2/2020. Khi quay và phỏng vấn, ông André Menras chỉ có một mình.
Ông cho hay ông gặp không ít nguy hiểm khi làm phim.
“Quay và phỏng vấn một phim “nhạy cảm” như vậy tại một xã hội hoàn toàn bị công an trị như Việt Nam hiện nay thì không an toàn đâu, cả cho người quay và cho người được phỏng vấn. Hãy tự hỏi xem: Tại sao chưa có một đạo diễn người Việt hay nước ngoài được quay phim như vậy dù họ chuyên nghiệp hơn tôi?,” ông André nói với BBC.
Ngoài bị an ninh theo dõi và nghe lén điện thoại, ông André cho biết ông còn đe dọa.
Hồ Cương Quyết“Để gặp được lão nông Lê Đình Kình và các nông dân tại Đồng Tâm, tôi đã phải thực hiện một hành trình “du kích” để đến được nơi. Sau đó, tôi phải đi Đà Nẵng phỏng vấn ông Trần Đức Anh Sơn. Tại sân bay Nội Bài, khi đã check in rồi, loa biểu tôi đi quầy kiểm tra hành lý …”
“Tại đó có ba cháu an ninh mời “bác Quyết” nói chuyện một chút. Họ hỏi về Đồng Tâm và những việc khác thuộc chương trình của tôi. Họ rất lịch sự nhưng cuối cuộc “làm việc”. Một cháu nói: “Bọn cháu có lệnh từ cấp trên. Bọn cháu rất kính trọng bác nhưng bác phải biết một điều: Nếu bác hại đến uy tín của Đảng, bác sẽ phải chịu hậu quả.” Tôi trả lời: “Đã biết Chí Hòa rồi, sẵn sàng thăm Hỏa Lò.”
Tên ông Hồ Cương Quyết mới đây cũng được VTV1 đưa lên trong danh sách “những tên phản động” ủng hộ “những tên khủng bố” Đồng Tâm.
“Trang Facebook và Messenger của tôi nhận vài lời chửi rủa, đe dọa giết tôi, chửi bố mẹ … Đó là lực lượng “AK47”, dư luận viên của chế độ. Tôi không ngạc nhiên vì đó là cách chế độ này trao đổi với dân: chửi “phản động”, dùi cui, còng, tù.”
“Tôi sẽ không bao giờ cúi đầu. Tôi chỉ buồn là một số người bạn tôi phỏng vấn trong phim này đã không kịp xem phim. Dịch giả Phạm Toàn và lão tướng Nguyễn Trọng Vĩnh qua đời, không được xem phim. Nhà bất đồng chính kiến Phạm Chí Dũng bị bắt. Ông Lê Đình Kình bị giết..,” ông André nói với BBC News Tiếng Việt.
‘Mong dân Việt Nam vượt qua sợ hãi’

Hồ Cương QuyếtDù nhận thức được nguy hiểm, đặc biệt sau khi công bố phim “Việt Nam: Tiếng gào thét từ bên trong”, nhưng ông André cho hay ông vẫn sẽ trở lại Việt Nam với tư cách là công dân nước này, nơi ông đã “gắn bó hơn nửa thế kỷ cuộc đời” và có nhiều bạn bè mà ông yêu quý.
“Tôi không làm gì sai hiến pháp, không có hành vi nào trái pháp luật. Tôi chỉ chống lại luật rừng của ĐCSVN, chống lại nạn cướp đất, cướp tài sản, cướp tiếng nói của dân thường, chống việc bán chủ quyền. Vì tôi là con người chứ không phải là con cừu … Và tôi không chỉ có một mình!”
Ông André cũng dự định đưa phim đi xa hơn, tới các lễ hội phim quốc tế về nhân quyền, để tiếng nói của người dân Việt Nam được biết đến nhiều hơn.
“Những trải nghiệm thực tế của tôi đã dạy tôi một điều: Nên khiêm tốn đối với lịch sử. Không thể đoán được ngày mai như thế nào. Năm 1970 khi tôi treo cờ “giải phóng” tại trung tâm Sài Sòn, làm sao tôi được biết tôi không bị bắn chết?”
“Làm sao tôi được biết chỉ 5 năm sau các “anh chị em” Việt Nam sẽ không giết nhau tại chiến trường? Làm sao tôi biết sẽ có hàng triệu thuyền nhân? Làm sao tôi biết chế độ mới sẽ là một chế độ ngày càng độc tài phản dân phản quốc, phục tùng cho đảng cộng sản Trung Quốc? Tôi chỉ biết một điều là “quan nhất thời, dân vạn đại” . Và sớm hay muộn dân chủ sẽ thắng.”
“Nỗi sợ hãi là một điều tự nhiên khi thấy môt nhóm lãnh đạo dám công khai hành quyết một ông già tàn phế vô tội như cụ Kình. Tôi chỉ mong muốn một các khiêm tốn rằng những tiếng nói trong phim sẽ giúp dân Việt Nam, ngày càng nhiều, vượt qua sợ hãi, để tự giải phóng, tự quyết định cuộc đời của mình,” ông André nói với BBC News Tiếng Việt.
BBC News Tiếng Việt phỏng vấn một số người đã xem phim trong và ngoài Việt Nam, và dưới đây là nhận xét của họ.
Luật sư Nguyễn Quốc Lân, Hoa Kỳ
Đây là là tiếng nói của thành phần phản kháng rất đặc biệt. Họ là những người đã từng hy sinh và phục vụ cho lý tưởng hay bộ máy chính quyền cộng sản hiện nay. Tiếng nói của họ quan trọng hơn tiếng nói của nhiều thành phần phản kháng khác vì họ không bị gán cho những cáo buộc như thành phần phản động từ thời Chiến Tranh Việt Nam hay từ hải ngoại nên không hiểu biết vê hoàn cảnh thực sự của đất nước.
Những tiếng nói này rất ít thấy từ trong nước hay tại hải ngoại. Tôi đã từng nghe từ những những người cảnh tỉnh khác, nhưng phần lớn họ là những người đã có tên tuổi hay nổi tiếng trước khi họ lên tiếng. Những nguời trong đoạn phim tài liệu này phần lớn là những người bình thường và chưa có vai trò quan trọng nào trong chính quyền trước đây. Những tiếng nói bình thường đó phản ảnh suy tư của những người dân thực sự ở trong nước hiện nay.
Thực ra, tập phim này không mang lại tin tức gì mới về hoàn cảnh đất nước hiện nay. Nhưng cái mới là tập thể những nhân chứng là thành phần khác với những thành phần thông thường. Đó là cái hay của tập phim này. Đất nước Việt Nam vẫn đen tối, nhưng có cơ hội tiến đến tươi sáng hơn nếu chính quyền biết nhận thức ra và sớm nắm lấy cơ hội này.
Mặc dầu xa quê hương lâu rồi hay không có quan hệ với những người này, tôi vẫn trân trọng tiếng nói của họ và đánh giá cao giá trị trung thực của tiếng nói của họ. Mặc dầu quan điểm của họ có giống như quan điểm của người Việt Nam tại hải ngoại, nhưng chưa chắc họ đã được chấp nhận tại hải ngoại vì họ đã có nhiều công trạng cho chính quyền cộng sản trước đây và hiện nay. Đây là một điều đáng tiếc vì sự nghi ngờ và chia rẽ khởi sự từ cuộc chiến Việt Nam. Tôi rất cám ơn ông Andre Menras đã có sáng kiến thâu thập những tiếng nói phản kháng này trong tập phim tài liệu của ông.

Cá nhân tôi rất thích tựa đề của phim: Những tiếng gào thét từ bên trong. Nó thể hiện sự dồn nén của những người đã từng một lòng tin đảng, nhưng sự thật đã làm họ phải nén chặt trong lòng cho đến khi phải thét lên trong phẫn nộ, đau đớn vì đổ vỡ niềm tin và đau đớn cho đất nước.
Tất cả những người mà ông André Menras phỏng vấn hầu hết là những người tôi đã từng tiếp xúc và trao đổi với nhau về hiện trạng đất nước, nên những lời nói ra trong phim là từ tâm khảm của họ.
Những điều họ nói là tiếng nói lương tri, nói hộ cho những người đang tranh đấu cho nền Dân Chủ nước nhà, những người đau đáu cho vận mệnh đất nước và dân tộc.
Tôi gặp ông André Menras trong một cuộc biểu tình chống Trung Quốc xâm lưc[j năm 2012 ở Sài Gòn. Cũng tình cờ ông thuê nhà cạnh nhà tôi, sau những cuộc trò chuyện chúng tôi trở thành bạn. Ông còn là thành viên CLB Lê Hiếu Đằng nên những lần ông về Việt Nam chúng tôi vẫn gặp mặt.
Đã có một phim phóng sự có tên “André Menras một con người Việt Nam”. Tựa đề phim đã nói lên ông là một người yêu Việt Nam mãnh liệt. Ông có hai quốc tịch: Pháp và Việt Nam. Có lẽ tình yêu Việt Nam từ thời còn trai trẻ đã chảy trong huyết quản ông nên ông luôn đau đáu mong muốn Việt Nam phát triển, văn minh cùng nhân loại và dân chủ, tự cường.
Dù trước năm 75 ông là người tham gia cùng với phong trào sinh viên chống chiến tranh và đòi thống nhất, dân chủ cho Viêt Nam, nhưng sau 75 dường như câu trả lời cho ông là sự thất vọng. Do đó nhiều cuộc biểu tình ở Việt Nam ông có mặt, xuống đường cùng các bạn bè đã từng đấu tranh, cùng ngồi tù Côn Đảo với ông trước năm 75 là Lê Hiếu Đằng, là Huỳnh Kim Báu, Huỳnh Tấn Mẫm… Ông tiếp tục lên tiếng phản đối bất công của nhà cầm quyền Việt Nam hiện giờ.
Những người nông dân, những người vô danh được ông phỏng vấn chắc chắn họ chưa từng được nói tiếng nói của mình trên truyền thông Việt Nam, họ bị bịt miệng, bị doạ dẫm hay đàn áp và bắt bớ.
