39 công dân này có hộ khẩu thường trú tại Hải Phòng, Hải Dương, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình, Thừa Thiên – Huế.
Chết trên đường đi tìm cuộc sống mới là tận cùng của bi kịch. Mong họ, 39 người Việt ấy, ở một thế giới khác sẽ được nhẹ nhàng, may mắn hơn.

Tờ Daily Mail dẫn lời cảnh sát chiều 7/11 (giờ địa phương), cho biết đã chính thức hoàn tất việc nhận diện 39 người gồm 31 nam và 8 nữ; đều là người Việt Nam.
Cũng trong thông báo vừa phát đi, Bộ Công An chính thức thông tin, tính đến 20:00 ngày 7/11, Việt Nam và nhà chức trách Anh đã xác định tất cả 39 nạn nhân chết trong container ở Essex ngày 23/10 mang quốc tịch Việt Nam!
39 công dân Việt Nam có HKTT ở Hải Phòng, Hải Dương, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình và Thừa Thiên – Huế.
Tối nay 7/11, Thủ tướng Phúc đã ra công văn đi các địa phương, gửi lời chia buồn đến các gia đình. Tuy nhiên, trong trường hợp này, vai trò Chủ Tịch Nước của ông Trọng mới là phù hợp hơn hết – tính về vị trí đối nội lẫn đối ngoại. Không những phù hợp mà còn là bắt buộc; quy định rõ trong Hiến Pháp Việt Nam 2013 tại Chương 6-7 Chủ Tịch Nước, Chính Phủ (Điều 86-101).
