Cảnh sát Czech đã bắt giữ và cáo buộc tám người mang quốc tịch Việt Nam và Nga tội tấn công mạng máy tính đăng ký người nước ngoài, theo thông báo của một công tố viên Czech hôm 16/10.
“Những cá nhân này bị bắt giam hôm 18/9. Cảnh sát cáo buộc họ đã tấn công mạng vào một hệ thống máy tính và dữ liệu,” công tố viên Petra Ullrichova được Sputnik trích lời cho các phóng viên biết. “Bốn trong số những người bị bắt giam còn bị cáo buộc rửa tiền cho các tổ chức tội phạm. Cả tám người này hiện đang bị giam giữ.”
Bà Ullrichova không cho biết có bao nhiêu người Việt Nam trong số những người bị bắt giữ.
Theo công tố viên này, những người đang bị giam giữ đã can thiệp bất hợp pháp vào hoạt động của các hệ thống đăng ký cấp giấy phép cho người nước ngoài được tạm trú tại Cộng hòa Czech, gây gián đoạn hoạt động của Bộ Ngoại giao nước này.
“Những người bị cáo buộc này đã lấy được hàng trăm triệu crown (hàng chục triệu đô la),” công tố viên Ullrichova cho biết.
Cơ quan Thông tin An ninh của Czech và Bộ Công an Việt Nam đã hợp tác với các chuyên gia chống tội phạm trong việc tìm ra các nghi can này, theo bà Ullrichova.
