Tổng thống Donald Trump đã chơi bao nhiêu vòng golf kể từ ngày nhậm chức?

Khác biệt với các đời tổng thống Mỹ, ông Donald Trump sở hữu tới 17 sân golf trước khi đứng đầu nhà Trắng. Điều đó cho thấy ông Trump là người yêu golf như thế nào.

Ông Donald Trump đang có 12 sân golf ở Mỹ, hai sân ở Dubai (1 sẽ mở trong năm 2018), một sân ở Ailen và hai sân ở Scotland. Dự kiến sân golf sắp tới của ông sẽ mở ở Indonesia.

Hai trong số các sân golf ở nước Mỹ của tổng thống Mỹ nằm ở câu lạc bộ VIP Mar-a-Lago, phía Tây Palm Beach, bang Floria. Đây là nơi ông Trump thường xuyên chơi golf vào mùa đông. Hiện tại ông dành phần lớn thời gian golf ở sân Sterling cũng do ông sở hữu, cách 20 dặm so với nhà Trắng. Tổng thống Hoa Kỳ rất yêu thích sân Trump National Golf Club ở Bedminster, N.J và chơi ở đó vào mùa hè.

Kể từ khi tiếp quản nhà Trắng vào ngày 20/1/2017 cho đến ngày 18/4/2018, theo báo cáo cho biết ông Trump đã chơi tổng cộng 108 lần.

Người ta ước tính chi phí chơi golf của Trump sau khi cộng các khoản thuế thay đổi theo số vòng, các sân khác nhau cho đến nay thì con số lên tới 10 triệu đô la.

Nhưng ông Trump đến sân golf để chơi chỉ là một phần, phần khác là ông làm việc. Nếu trong nhiệm kỳ làm tổng thống đầy đủ 8 năm, số ngày ông Trump dành thời gian trên sân dự kiến vào khoảng 772 ngày. Tổng thống Donald Trump dành 25% ngày làm việc ở văn phòng ở một trong những sân golf ưa thích của ông. Ông từng dành 40 phút để đến sân Trump National Golf Club ở Sterling, và ghé thăm 3 ngày tới Trump National Golf Club ở Bedminster để theo dõi giải US Women’s Open 2017. Trong giới siêu sao golf đó phải kể các tên tuổi như Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Daniel Berger, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, Bryson DeChambeau và Ernie Els. Ông cũng thi đấu cùng với nghị sĩ bang Kentucky Rand Paul, người có vai trò quan trọng trong kế hoạch tái thiết chương trình Chăm sóc sức khỏe của Trump. Hay nghị sĩ khác là Lindsey Graham đến từ Nam Carolina, đồng minh về các chính sách thuế của ông. Tổng thống Mỹ rất thích mời golf với các vị lãnh đạo cấp cao thế giới đặc biệt ngài thủ tướng Nhật Shinzo Abe. Cả hai người đứng đầu Mỹ Nhật có nhiều lần đánh golf với nhau. Ông Trump cũng từng chơi golf với hai huyền thoại Peyton Manning.

Ông Trump là người yêu golf, làm việc với golf nhiều nhưng ông cũng bị chê bai về văn hóa ứng xử trên sân không đẹp như: đi xe điện lên hẳn green, hay bị nói là chơi “ăn gian”.

Dường như khi lên nhậm chức, người ta cũng không soi mói nhiều việc ông Trump chơi golf nhiều hay ít so với thời Obama. Tuy nhiên, chính ông Trump thường xuyên chỉ trích ông Obama hay chơi golf khi còn đương nhiệm tổng thống.
